Make Image Authenticity Verifiable, Not Assumed

As AI-generated and edited media becomes increasingly indistinguishable from reality, trust in visual evidence continues to erode. In journalism, legal documentation, compliance reporting, and operational verification, the question is no longer whether an image looks real - but whether it can be proven real.

Miracam is built to close this trust gap. It establishes verifiable image provenance at the moment of capture, turning photos into cryptographically anchored evidence rather than unverifiable files. Instead of asking others to trust what they see, Miracam enables them to verify it.

Infrastructure for Verifiable Media

Miracam uses Apple Secure Enclave signatures combined with on-chain records to establish device-backed authenticity. When a photo is captured, authenticity metadata is bound to the image and proof references are anchored immediately. This creates a tamper-evident trail that travels with the image wherever it goes.

For scenarios where public verification is required, photos can be minted with authenticity references. At the same time, private images remain encrypted and controlled by the owner's wallet, ensuring that privacy is preserved alongside proof. Authenticity and confidentiality are treated as complementary principles, not trade-offs.

The workflow is intentionally straightforward: capture an image, bind the authenticity metadata, anchor the proof reference, and share verifiable evidence downstream when needed. In compliance-sensitive or trust-sensitive environments, this shifts the conversation from "trust me" to "verify this."

Designed for Trust-Sensitive Workflows

Miracam is positioned as infrastructure for trust in media workflows, not as a novelty camera application. Its architecture is designed for environments where verification matters - including compliance operations, dispute resolution, reporting, and any scenario where image authenticity must withstand scrutiny.

By binding device-backed signatures with on-chain anchoring, Miracam creates a durable authenticity layer that persists beyond file transfers or platform changes. The result is a verifiable chain of provenance that strengthens accountability and reduces ambiguity.

Recognition

Miracam received two sponsor prizes at ETHGlobal Bangkok 2024 from The Graph and Chainlink, validating both the technical execution and the importance of the problem it addresses. View the Full Submission.

A New Standard for Visual Trust

As digital media becomes easier to manipulate, verification must become easier to perform. Miracam establishes a practical, scalable path toward verifiable image authenticity, enabling organizations and individuals to operate with greater confidence in environments where trust can no longer be assumed.

Miracam is not simply capturing photos. It is redefining how visual evidence is established, preserved, and trusted.
